about us *
Passenger Events was founded by Daniel Sharkey — a Glasgow-based DJ, music promoter and creative director with over 25 years of experience. What started as small community get-togethers has grown into something special — a way to connect with people through sound, storytelling, and shared moments.
Our growing programme of Passenger happenings has created a like-minded community of dancers, dreamers, and music heads who want more from their weekend than just a night out.
Think sunshine, sound systems, and the Scottish wild..
From Glasgow to Aviemore... and now Arran
In 2024, we took things up a gear with our first ever outdoor event: Passenger Adventures in Aviemore. Set amongst mountains and forests, it was a sold-out celebration of sound, nature, and connection — a massive success that proved our community was ready for something bigger.
Now, we’re heading west for the next chapter...
Welcome to Passenger Events
Crafted by music lovers, for music lovers.
Following the success of our Aviemore debut, we’re taking the Passenger experience to one of the most magical places in Scotland — the Isle of Arran.
Adventures on Arran is a multi stage two-day micro boutique event where electronic music meets raw, untouched nature. Think open-air beach parties, late-night forest dancing, and world-class artists performing in some of the island’s most unique hidden gems — from botanical bars to tucked-away woodland stages.
This isn’t a festival
It’s something more personal. More intentional. Built for those who crave connection, discovery, and the kind of music that moves you — body and soul.
We’re bringing together a carefully curated lineup of DJs, live acts, visual artists, and locals for a weekend that celebrates freedom, creativity, and community. And of course, it’s all wrapped in our signature Passenger style: intimate, high-energy, inclusive, and unforgettable.
Arran gives us the perfect backdrop — wild landscapes, cosy local venues, sea views, and starlit skies. It’s the adventure you didn’t know you needed.
Introducing: Adventures on Arran.
our values
At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to creating experiences that go deeper than the dancefloor.
These values guide how we build our events, engage with our community, and honour the places we celebrate in.
From our lineups to our locations, from the people we platform to the planet we protect — this is what we stand for.
Adventure
Take a leap into the unknown with mindfulness and grace.
diversity
Respect and appreciate differences in age, gender, ethnicity, education, physical abilities, race, and religion among individuals.
nature
Recognising the intrinsic value of the natural world and our interconnectedness with it.
music
Music has a value way beyond it’s own musical value and we will celebrate this.
inclusivity
Being open to learning about others without judgement.
Passenger's focused mission is the following:
"To encourage people to enjoy both music and outdoor exploration. Our goal is to inspire individuals from diverse backgrounds to connect music with nature in promoting access to natural spaces and advocating for responsible outdoor recreation. We do this by integrating music, art, and culture into the outdoor experience, aiming to ignite a sense of adventure and appreciation for the world around us, all in the name of inclusivity and diversity and through the musical value of music”

Our Roots. Your Journey.
Passenger was born from Glasgow’s underground — shaped by late nights at iconic Glasgow venues and Daniel’s international DJ trips, forged in dancefloors around the world. Built by Daniel Sharkey, a lifelong DJ and promoter, we’ve grown from intimate microclub nights to hosting international icons and transformational musical moments across Scotland.
Backed by a Tier 1 network of artists, industry leaders, and Daniel’s own DJ agency (representing legends like Terry Francis, Red Pig Flower, and Darren from 808 State), every Passenger event is curated with soul, intention, and a deep love for the craft.
Come for the music.
Stay for the movement.
Whether it’s your first Passenger event or your tenth, you’re not just a guest — you’re part of the story.
So let’s dance in the forest. Raise a glass on the beach. And write the next chapter of our shared adventure together.
Join us on the Isle of Arran this September. It’s going to be unforgettable.
